The International Liver Congress (TM), Paris, France, 11/04/2018-15/04/2018 has been accredited by the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME®) with 36 European CME credits (ECMEC®s). Each medical specialist should claim only those hours of credit that he/she actually spent in the educational activity.”

“Live educational activities, occurring outside of Canada, recognised by the UEMS-EACCME® for ECMEC®s are deemed to be Accredited Group Learning Activities (Section 1) as defined by the Maintenance of Certification Program of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.”


EACCME® credits

Each participant can only receive the number of credits he/she is entitled to according to his/her actual participation at the event once he/she has completed the feedback form. Cf. criteria 9 and 23 of UEMS 2016.20.

In order to help you issue individual certificates to each participants, please find below the breakdown of ECMEC®s per day:

11.04.2018 – 7,00

12.04.2018 – 8,00

13.04.2018 – 8,00

14.04.2018 – 8,00

15.04.2018 – 5,00

The EACCME® awards ECMEC®s on the basis of 1 ECMEC® for one hour of CME with a maximum of 8 ECMEC®s per day. Cf. Chapter X of UEMS 2016.20.

Please note that a completed CME evaluation form is a prerequisite in order to download your ILC 2018 certificate of attendance.
The CME evaluation form will only be available as of Monday 16 April and should be completed via the online registration platform.

Italian regulations for pharmaceutical companies 

Pharmaceutical companies producing drugs in Italy who wish to participate as sponsors or exhibitors to scientific events must be registered by the Italian Ministry of Health.

Application to register to The International Liver CongressTM 2018 MUST be presented to the Italian Ministry of Health at the latest 70 days (Wednesday 31 January 2018) prior to the beginning of congress. Applications received after this deadline will be rejected.

Application to register must be made through a local agency that will forward the request to the Italian Ministry of Health in the specific requested format.

TWT srl has been appointed by EASL as the sole agent to collect applications from pharmaceutical companies and to file them with the Italian Ministry of Health for The International Liver CongressTM to be held in Paris, France, 11-15 April, 2018.
